Installation WARNING: Hard drives require careful handling, especially when being transported. If you are not careful with your hard disk, lost data may result. Always handle your hard drive and storage device with caution. Hardware Installation Make sure the computer system is powered off and unplugged from the power source before attempting any hardware installation. -

How to Use If the SATA controller supports Hot-Swapping drives, then hard drives can be removed and installed into the Mobile Rack without having to shut the computer system off. Refer to the documentation for the SATA controller for details on how to use Hot-Swapping. If not supported, the computer must be shut down first, to install or remove hard drives. -
