7. Touch the static-protective package that contains the new backplate to any
unpainted metal surface on the server. Then, remove the new backplate from
the package.
8. Align the backplate with the slot on the chassis; then, lower the backplate into
the server. Make sure the locating plates securely engage the bottom of the
backplate.
9. Press the release latches; then, rotate the top of the backplate toward the
front of the server until it locks into place.
Note: Make sure the backplate is engaged into place by the locating plates
and that it is securely installed in the server.
10. Replace the system fan cage if you removed it:
