Open the back cover and fuser cover. Push down the blue tab (1). Repeat this process on the other
side. Make sure that the top of the tab and the white lever (2) are not level with each other. Close
the back cover and try printing again.

Is thick paper of more than
43lb being used?
Does the position of the nip
release levers in the fuser
unit decompress the nip
pressure?
Is the problem solved by
replacing the drum unit or
the toner cartridge?
Is the thermistor fitted
correctly?
Is the problem solved by
replacing the low-voltage
power supply PCB?
