Wipe the glass plate
The internal scan area should be wiped clean for any dust accumulated during
shipping and packaging.
1.
Open the scan area lid - Push down on the two lock buttons found near the
insertion slot on each side of the lid.
2.
The scanning area lid locking mechanism should now be disengaged.
3.
Place your thumbs in the insertion slot and flip the scanning area lid back to its
open position.
4.
The glass plate is now exposed for cleaning.
5.
Wipe the glass plate with a dry cloth to remove any dust.
6.
Close the scanner lid. Make sure the locks reengage (click).
1 and 2. Push down on the two lock

3 and 4. Flip the scanning area lid back to its open
position.
5. Wipe the glass plate free for dust.
