AIR CLEANER SERVICE
A dirty air filter will restrict air flow to the carburetor, reducing engine
performance. If you operate the tiller in very dusty areas, clean the air filter
more often than specified in the MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE.
Operating the engine with no air filter, or a damaged air filter, will cause
rapid engine wear.
1. Remove the cover wing nut, then remove the air cleaner cover.
2. Remove thefilterwing nut, then remove and separate the air filter elements.
Carefully check both elements for holes or tears, and replace the filter if
damaged.
