Configuring SNMP Informs
Beginning in privileged EXEC mode, follow these steps to configure SNMP informs receiver:

To configure SNMP informs, use the snmpinform global configuration command. To
display the SNMP informs configuration, use show snmpinform privileged EXEC
command.
As configuring the SNMPv3 informs, the security level of inform has to be the same or
lower than the one of the SNMP user. (Refer to section 17.2 Configuring SNMP User)
In this example, create and activate the SNMPv2 and v3 informs for SNMP informs
receiver:
(BX900-CB1)(Config)#snmpinform public 192.168.2.2 version snmpv2
(BX900-CB1)(Config)#snmpinform v3_user 192.168.2.2 version snmpv3 auth
(BX900-CB1)(Config)#exit
(BX900-CB)#show snmpinform

Purpose
Enter global configuration mode
Create a SNMP inform and specify the client
IP address to receive SNMP informs.
Inform-name should be SNMPv2
community string or SNMPv3 user name.
Return to global configuration mode.
Verify the configuration.
