Priority

The priority feature lets you scan through
the channels and still not miss important or
interesting calls on specific channels. You can
program any stored channel as a priority channel.
If the priority feature is turned on, the scanner
checks the priority channels for activity every two
seconds.
To set a channel as a priority channel:
1. Enter the channel number you want to select
as a priority channel, then press SCAN/MAN.
2. Press E
PGM
3. Press E
PGM
appears.
4. Rotate the knob to select 3: Priority CH, then
press E
PGM
5. Rotate the knob to select 1: On, then press
E
.
PGM
6. Press Menu to exit Menu.
7. Repeat above steps for other channels you
want to program as a priority channel.
To turn on the priority feature in scan mode or
manual mode, press Func + 1/PRI. PRI appears.
Then the scanner checks the designated priority
channels every 2 seconds.
To turn off the priority feature, press Func + 1/PRI
again.
Note: If you have locked out all priority
channels, Priority Scan No Channel appears when
you activate the priority feature and the
priority feature is cancelled.
