6. Remove the nozzles as follows:
a.) Remove the bolt from the hold down
bracket. Lift the bracket straight up and
slide out either end of the oven.

b.) Push the nozzles toward the back wall of
the oven. Lift the front end and turn it to-
ward you slipping the back end from the
duct.
7. Remove the return air diverters. Lift the front
end of each diverter. Slide the end clips from
under the outer edge of the oven's back wall.
8. Soak the conveyor assembly in a hot water/
detergent mix.
9. Clean the crumb pans, nozzles , air plates, di-
verters and end plugs with a hot water/deter-
gent mix. Rinse with clean water. For difficult
cleaning use a heavy duty degreaser or oven
cleaner that is safe for aluminum.
NOTE: DO NOT immerse the end plugs. They
contain insulation.
10. Clean the oven interior with an all purpose
cleaner or an oven cleaner that is safe for alu-
minum.
11. Move the oven to clean underneath. DO NOT
damage the gas hose or electrical cords when
moving.
12. Reverse steps 1---7 to reassemble.
Maintenance
Every 12 Months:
A factory authorized service person should:
1. Open and clean the inside of the control panel.
2. Check and tighten all electrical connections.
3. Check DC gear motor brushes for wear.
4. Check conveyor drive chain for cleanliness
and proper lubrication.
If maintenance is required contact your local ser-
vice company, a factory representative or the
Blodgett Oven company.
WARNING!!
Always disconnect the power supply be-
fore cleaning or servicing the oven.
WARNING!!
If the oven needs to be moved, the gas
must be turned off and disconnected from
the unit before removing the restraint. Re-
connect the restraint after the oven has
been returned to its original location.
