CAUTION:
Before you begin any of the procedures in this section, follow the safety instructions in the Product Information Guide.
 
CAUTION:
To guard against electrical shock, always unplug your computer from the electrical outlet before removing the cover.
 

Removing the Front Panel

 
1. Remove the
computer
cover.
 
2. Remove the
drive
panel.
 
3. Remove the hard drive and second hard drive, if applicable.
 
4. Remove the two front-panel screws.
NOTICE:
Use care when handling the front-panel release tabs to avoid damaging them.
 
5. Using a small, flat-blade screwdriver, press the four top front-panel release tabs upwards and press down on the four bottom release tabs to loosen
the front panel.
 
6. Starting from the bottom of the front panel, pivot the panel toward the top of the computer and remove the panel.
