LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) is used to program
directory-enabled applications. It is a directory service that allows
people to locate other users, resources, services and information.
LDAP allows resources and services to be selected with ease and
accessed with location-independence.
o LDAP works differently depending on the organization and what
the system looks like.
