Replacing the optical drive

Ê Open the server as described in
Ê Remove all memory boards and memory dividers (for a description see the
Options Guide).

Make a note about the slot from which you pulled each memory board
for you have to replace it back into the same slot.
Ê Remove the memory rug (see
Figure 16: Location of the optical drive connector
The optical drive is connected to the hot-swap backplane via a green connector
(see oval in figure above).
