To access voicemail, press the Messages button. Your phone administrator should
have configured your phone with the correct voicemail number so that pressing
the Messages button automatically dials your voicemail system.
To change the number for your voicemail (for example, if your phone is not part of a
Cisco Voice System or you have external voicemail), perform the following steps:
Press Setup.
Scroll to User Preferences and press Select.
Scroll to Call Preferences and press Select.
Scroll to Voice Mail.
Enter the number to dial for voicemail. For a Cisco Voice System, this is typically
vmm. For an external system, enter the phone number, including any digits you
must dial to reach an outside line.
To enter digits, press Option and choose Input Num.
To enter an IP address, press Option, choose Input IP. Use the dial pad to enter the
digits. Press * to enter a dot.
To enter a star code, press Option, choose Input Star Code, and select the code
from the list.
To clear the field of a previous entry, press Option and choose Clear.
Press Set.
