CONNECTING AND OPERATING THE COMPONENT EXTENDER How to Connect the Component Extender Connect the component source to the Component Extender Sending unit using the supplied 3 RCA component cable. Connect a CAT-5e cable between the Component Extender Sending and Receiving units. Connect the component display to the Component Extender Receiving unit’s output using a user supplied 3 RCA component cable. -

CONFIGURING THE COMPONENT EXTENDER The fi rst step in adjusting the video quality is to display text and a graphic on your monitor (i.e. desktop icons). Then set your source to the resolution that you will be using most frequently. The dip switches are used to set the focus and sharpness of the picture to the best possible setting. -
