If the upload is nevertheless interrupted, be sure not to switch off the IP Phone
afterwards. Repeat the upload procedure once you have eliminated the problem.
Refer to the documentation accompanying the new versions to see if you also need
to load a new boot firmware. If you do, be sure to follow any specified sequence of
boot code and firmware update.
The new firmware is not activated directly. You need to perform a reset to activate
the new version. For this, you can choose from the two links: "immediate reset" or
"reset when idle".
Once the firmware has been updated you must close all browser and applet
windows and restart your browser. This is necessary because the new firmware may
also include new user interface elements which are only activated in this way.
