Rear interior lighting
The rear interior lighting switch is on the
centre console.
1 Constant light
2 Automatic control
E
To switch on: press upper section 1
of the switch.
The rear lighting comes on.
E To switch off: press upper section 1
of the switch.
The rear lighting goes out.
Automatic control
The rear interior lighting comes on auto-
matically if you:
open the tailgate/rear door

I open a side door
I unlock the vehicle
It is possible to deactivate automatic con-
trol of the rear interior lights.
E To switch off: press lower section 2
of the switch.
Automatic control is deactivated.
If the key is in position 0 in the ignition
lock, the indicator lamp in the switch is
lit for five seconds.
If the key is in position 1 or 2 in the
ignition lock, the indicator lamp in the
switch is lit continuously.
E To switch on: press lower section 2
of the switch.
The indicator lamp in the switch goes
out. Automatic control is activated.

To switch on: press on the cover
glass.
The rear interior light comes on.
E
To switch off: press on the cover
glass.
The rear interior light goes out.
!
If you switch a light on manually, it does
not switch off automatically after 20 minutes.
This could eventually discharge the vehicle bat-
tery.
