The switch for the heater booster function
is located under the light switch, between
the driver's door and the steering wheel.
1 To switch the auxiliary heating on/off
2 To switch the heater booster function
on/off
Switching on: press the I switch.

The indicator lamp in the switch comes
on.
Instrument cluster version A: the ö
display comes on.

If you switch off the engine without switch-
ing off the heater booster function, the system
will be switched on the next time the engine is
started (memory function).
Switching off: press the I switch

again.
The indicator lamp in the switch goes
out.
Instrument cluster version A: the ö
display goes off.
The heater booster function operates
for about another 3 minutes and then
switches off automatically.

Electrical heater booster system

The vehicle can be equipped with an elec-
trically powered heater booster system.
The heater booster system ensures that
the vehicle interior is heated up very
quickly during the engine's warm-up
phase.

licence plates, vehicle lighting, turn

blades for dirt and damage
I tyres and wheels for firm seating,
correct tyre pressure and general
condition
I trailer coupling for play and that it
is securely fastened

The trailer tow hitch is one of the most im-
portant items on the vehicle with regard to
road safety. The separate instructions issued
by the manufacturer pertaining to operation,
care and maintenance should be observed.

Rectify any noticeable defects before
commencing the journey.
