1 Ashtray
E To open: pull out ashtray 1 by the re-
cess.
E To close: push ashtray 1 into the
centre console until it engages.
Removing the ashtray insert

Risk of injury
Switch off the engine and apply the parking
brake before removing the ashtray to empty
it.
You could otherwise inadvertently set the
vehicle in motion.

E Push ashtray cover 1 in the direction
of the arrow.

Pull ashtray insert 1 forward and up
to remove.

Installing the ashtray insert
E Push ashtray insert 1 back and down
in the retainer until it engages twice.

Close the ashtray cover.

If the ashtray insert is not correctly in-
stalled, the ashtray will jam or be difficult to
open and close.

Cigarette lighter

Risk of injury and fire
Only hold the hot cigarette lighter by its
knob. Otherwise, you might burn yourself.
Make sure that children travelling in the ve-
hicle are not able to injure themselves on
the hot cigarette lighter or cause a fire with
it.

You can use the cigarette lighter socket for
accessories up to 180 watts and for the elec-
tric air pump.

If you are using the socket to operate an
accessory, the socket continues to be supplied
with power even when the ignition is switched
off. This could eventually discharge the battery
and you will no longer be able to start the en-
gine.
