Possible cause/consequence
You have forgotten to switch off the
lights when leaving the vehicle.
The rain/light sensor is faulty. Constant
headlamp mode is activated.
Automatic headlamp mode is activated:
the light switch is in the U position
and you forgot to take out the key.
The diesel particle filter is full.
Several electronic systems are unable
to deliver information to the on-board
computer. The following systems may
have failed: the rev counter, the display
for cruise control or Speedtronic.
The key is no longer working.
