12.7.3 Receiving a Group Call

1. When a group call is received, the GX1150 will produce a ringing alarm
sound.
The display will show the MMSI (or name) of the
vessel transmitting the Group Call.
2. Press any key to stop the alarm.
3. To show the nature of the call of the vessel, press
the key.
4. If a key is not pressed for thirty seconds after a
Group Call is received, the GX1150 will automati-
cally switch to the requested channel for you to monitor communications.
