Park your vehicle at a safe place and pull up the parking brake
lever. Then, the parking brake warning light (

Warning Light and Warning Sound When Driv-
ing While the Parking Brake is Engaged
If you drive the vehicle without releasing the
parking brake, the brake warning light blinks
and the buzzer sounds to warn the driver
when the vehicle speed exceeds 10 km/h for
more than 2 seconds. When this happens,
stop the vehicle immediately and release the
parking brake.
CAUTION
• Before driving off, be sure to check that the brake warning light is
turned off.
