When you see this:
An option is grayed out and not accessible
The rest of this section lists the features that display onscreen after you press <F2> to
enter BIOS Setup. We do not describe all the option choices because (1) a few are not user
selectable but displayed for your information, and (2) many of the choices are relatively self-
explanatory.

What it means:
You cannot change or configure the option in that
menu screen for one of the following reasons:
• The option is auto-configured or auto-detected.
• The field is informational only.
• The field is password protected and is accessible
only by the User or Administrator

Selects the diskette type.
Causes the BIOS to insert a delay before
attempting to detect IDE drives in the system

Informs the system to ignore this drive.
Allows the system to attempt auto-detection of the drive type.
