Laser Safety

This fax machine contains a page printer which operates by means of a
laser. This fax machine contains a page printer which operates by means
of a laser. This machine does not impose any danger as long as it is used
according to the procedures described in this manual. The laser is limited
to the interior of the machine. The environment is protected from the laser
emission by the covers of the machine.

Internal Laser Radiation

Maximum radiation: 7.3 x 10
The machine works with an invisible class IIIb laser. The printer head unit
is not field service item.

Ozone Release Warning

During printer operation, a small quantity of ozone is released. This
amount is not large enough to harm anyone. However, be sure the room
where the fax machine is being used has adequate ventilation,. especially
if you are printing a high volume of material or if the fax machine is being
used continuously over a long period.
