DETERMINE INSTALLATION
HEIGHT
This hood can be installed for vented or recirculating
operation. All necessary parts are shipped with the hood
for recirculation mode.
NOTE: Installation
height should be measured from
the cooking surface to the bottom of the hood.
The vent hood must be installed 24" min. and
36" max. above the cooking surface.

RecirculGtion Mode
You must use the riser with louvers facing the front
side with recirculation
mode. The hood height with
the riser is 14". Do not knock out the duct opening
on the riser.

Height
To determine
the distance
between the bottom of
the hood and the cooking surface (IVlin 24", Max. 36"
use the following
formula to solve for X:
X=C-(A+B+R+Y+Z)
where
A = Cooking surface to the floor
B = Hood height without
riser
C = Ceiling height
R = Riser height (must be used with recirculation
mode, optional
for vent mode)
Y = Cabinet height
Z = Soffit/Gap
between the cabinet and ceiling (may
be "0")
Example: X = 96" - (36" + 10 1/2" + 3 1/2" + 15" + 6")
X= 25"
