4. Pull up on the armrest assembly to ensure the armrest is locked in place.
5. Repeat STEPS 1-4 for opposite side of wheelchair, if necessary.

Removing/Installing and Using Flipback Armrests

Removing/Installing Flip Back Armrest

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7.2 on page 44.

Removing Flip Back Armrest

1. Unlock existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release levers located
on the side rail to the up (horizontal) as shown in Detail "A".
2. Pull the quick release pin out of the rear arm socket.
3. Pull up on the existing armrest to remove from the arm socket.
4. Repeat STEPS 1-3 for opposite side of wheelchair, if necessary.
5. Install the new/existing armrest on to the wheelchair. Refer to in this procedure of the
manual.

Installing Flip Back Armrest

1. If necessary, unlock new/existing armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release
levers located on the side rail to the up (horizontal) position (Detail "A").
2. Install new/existing armrest assembly into the arm sockets.
3. Lock the armrest assembly by flipping the arm assembly release levers located on the
side rail to the down (vertical) position (Detail "A").
