Changing the thread (tying on) /Cambiar el hilo
It is simple th change the thread in the
following manner:
Cut the thread above the spool pin and
knot the ends of old and new threads
together.
Set the tension dial to "0" and raise the
presser foot.
Pull the other end of the thread until the
knots come under the presser foot. For
the needle threads, pull the other ends of
threads until the knots come to the needle
eye and cut the threads at both sides of
the knots. Then re-thread the needles.

Asa cerrada

El asa cerrada facilita llevar la máquina.

Los hilos se pueden cambiar de la manera
siguiente:
Corte el hilo existente cerca del porta-
carrete. Coloque el nuevo carrete en el
porta-carrete anudando los fines de los
hilos.
Ponga el mando de regulación de la
tensión del hilo a 0 y levante el
prensatelas.
Si debe cambiar el hilo de la aguja, corte
el nudo de hilos antes de llegar al ojo de
la aguja a fin de evitar que la aguja se
doble.
Saque el hilo del garfio hasta que el nudo
de hilos se encuentre debajo del
prensatelas.
