Introduction

The ASMB-922I serverboard is the most advanced Intel Xeon E5-2600 (v2) series
board for server-grade IPC applications that require high-performance computing
power & multi-expansion slots. This serverboard supports Intel Xeon E5-2600(v2)
series processor and DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz memory up to 128 GB.
ASMB-922I provides 3*PCI-E x16 slot(x16 link) & 1*PCI-E x8 slot(x8 link) & 1*PME
slots.
For multi-interface expansion card applications, ASMB-922I can support three more
additional expansion slots with a PME board*.
In addition, the ASMB-922I has dual Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports via a dedicated PCIe
x1 bus, which offer bandwidth up to 500 MB/s, eliminating network bottlenecks.
The ASMB-922I has a third RJ-45 LAN connector which is dedicated for IPMI func-
tion allowing remote control
High reliability and outstanding performance makes ASMB-922I the ideal platform for
industrial server/networking applications.
By using the Intel C602J chipset, the ASMB-922I offers a variety of features such as
4 onboard SATA II, and 2 onboard SATA III interfaces; it supports IRST (Intel Rapid
Storage Technology) and provides RAID 0, 1, 10 and 5 (Windows only*); and it has
11 USB 2.0 & 2 USB 3.0 connectors.
These powerful I/O capabilities ensure even more reliable data storage capabilities
and high-speed I/O peripheral connectivity.

General

Intel E5-2600(v2) processor support: ASMB-922I supports two Intel E5-
2600(v2) series Quad/Six/Eight/Ten core processors.

High performance I/O capability: Dual Gigabit LAN, 3* PCIe x16 slot(x16 link)
+ 1* PCIe x8 slot(x8 link) + 1* PME slot, 6 SATA connectors and 11 USB 2.0
ports.

Standard EATX form factor with industrial features: ASMB-922I provides
industrial features like long product lifecycle, reliable operation under wide tem-
perature range, watchdog timer, etc.

IPMI 2.0 support: ASMB-922I equipped with ASPEED 2300 BMC chip supports
IPMI 2.0 (Intelligent Platform Management Interface 2.0) via dedicated LAN
port.

KVM over IP: ASMB-922I KVM over IP function allows remote control of system
through your own computer.
