Set-up Steps

To perform these steps:
1. Take the terminal and components out of the box.
2. Verify the items delivered: the installation guide (in the box) lists
them.
3. Ensure the terminal battery is fully charged.
3. Insert the Rogers SIM.
4. Power up the terminal.
5. Change the default password ("123456").
6. Adjust date and time if not set to current date and time.
7. Enter the Ethernet parameters.
8. Perform a parameter initialization with the host.
9. Perform a key exchange if debit cards are to be accepted.
10. Perform training transactions to understand how the terminal
works.
At this point, the terminal is ready to perform debit and credit
transactions.
You may further customize the terminal to your needs: continue
with the following steps.
11. Define which options will have password control.
12. Learn how to lock and unlock the terminal.
13. Configure the other parameters.
14. Print parameters and help lists (optional).
15. Configure the backlight (optional).
16. Change the language for displays, receipts and reports (optional).
17. Configure the printer and the receipts.
