4.4.5. DDNS
This section allows you to configure DDNS (Dynamic Domain Name Service). DDNS allows you to map a static domain name to a dynamic IP address.
To use this feature, you must sign up for an account from a DDNS service provider. The list of supported DDNS service providers is provided in a drop
down selection.
To configure DDNS, follow these steps –
DDNS Configuration: Click 'enable' to turn ON the DDNS feature.
Server Address: Select a server from the drop down list.
Host Name: Enter your host name.
Username: Enter your username.
Password: Enter your password.
Verify Password: Re-enter the same password that you typed in the password field.
Once you completed your settings, click on 'Save' to store the settings.
4.4.6. NTP
This section allows you to configure your NTP (Network Time Protocol) settings. The NTP settings allow your router to synchronise its internal clock with the
global Internet Time. These settings will affect functions such as System Log entries and Firewall settings.
Follow these steps to configure NTP –
1. Enable NTP server: Enable your NTP server.
2. NTP Server Address: Enter your NTP server address.
3. Time Zone: Select the time zone you are located in from the drop down box.
4. Once you've completed your settings, click on 'Save' to store them.
