Water connection / draining

If the machine is connected to a newly installed water pipe, the pipe and the supply tube must
be thoroughly rinsed so that no dirt particles can enter the machine.
The coffee maker must be connected to an installed drinking-water pipe with shutoff valve. The
machine is installed by using the mounted pressure tube and the G 1/2" screw at the pressure
relief component mounted to the tap (set to 3 bar).
If the machine is attached to a water drainage system, the supplied temperature-resistant drain
hose must be connected to the drip pan and siphon. It must be firmly attached to the drain
and slanted at a downward angle (so that the water can flow downward).
Optimal water hardness is -9°dWH (typical in Germany) or 8-12°fWH (typical in France). The
chlorine content should not exceed 100 mg per liter. Ideal pH value = 7.
All local regulations are also binding.
