If your Schaerer TouchIT coffee machine shows a "grounds container missing" error, follow these steps:
1. Insert the grounds container if it is missing. 2. If the container is inserted but not detected: - Check the magnet at the rear right of the grounds container. - Check the function and position of the monitoring sensor located directly behind the water pump.

Basic operation Basic configuration of the service technician flash drive USB sticks for the service technician require a "Schaerer structure". This structure makes it possible to automatically access the required data. The current "SCATouchIT" machine software must be available. This software can be down- loaded from "www.schaerer.com\member".
A window that provides information on the loading process is displayed. The USB-SAVE-DATA-PLUS flash drive is configured. A Schaerer directory structure is created (see figure on the left). ► Remove the USB-SAVE-DATA-PLUS flash drive again. To actually drain the water from the entire system, Schaerer technical support must be contacted. The "Water drainage" system parameter is used to cool the water system of the machine. In addition, the machine is depressurised if the correct order was maintained.
