Setting value
OFF This item changes the operation speed of pan (horizontal rotation) and tilt (vertical
rotation) automatically according to the zoom of the lens. When the zoom lens is at
TELE (telephoto), the pan and tilt speed is slow. When it is at WIDE (wide angle), the
pan and tilt speed is fast. Set this item when shooting objects with different zoom
ratio.

When this item is set to ON , Auto Focus (AF) will activate automatically when
operating the pan, tilt and zoom function manually. This is convenient as you need
ON
not reset the focus every time you move the camera when there are many manual
operations.

Memo :
● The Auto Focus function may not focus properly for some objects. (A Page 7) In
this case, set the focus manually.
When switching the Color mode to B&W mode, the type of light source may cause
the focus to be dislocated. This is because the B&W mode is sensitive to both visible
ON
light and near-infrared light. When this happens, set this item to ON to focus
automatically.

–5 to 0 to 10 This item sets the movable range of the tilt (vertical) operation during manual
operation.

It does not affect the Preset Position, Auto Trace and Auto Patrol operations. When
this item is set to 10 , the movable range of the tilt operation is from 10 to 90 . It
cannot operate between –5 and 9 .
This operation has priority over tilt limit. When the camera is moved to a prohibited
area and tilt operation is performed manually, it operates in the following manner.
Memo :
● Tilt operation is disabled in the prohibited area. Tilt will be forcibly moved to the
effective area.
● Once the camera enters the effective area, the tilt limit settings take over and tilt
operation can only be performed in the effective area.
This item sets the movable range of the pan (horizontal) operation during manual
operation. It does not affect the Preset Position, Auto Pan and Auto Trace operations.

When the camera is not operated within the duration set in TIME , it will
automatically return to the state set in MODE .
Note :
● This function only works normally when the model name on the serial number
plate of RM-P2580 is RM-P2580(A).
This item sets the operation after Auto Return.
