Paper of the current size type
cannot be used with this mode. Set
the proper paper size type.
Place the 2nd original and
press the Start Key.
Place the originals again.
Place the originals in the feeder.
Push the drawer back into the
Paper Deck.
Cause and Countermeasure
The image location is beyond the edge of the
copy sheet. Change the amount of movement.
Originals of unavailable paper are set in the
Feeder. Alternatively, paper is jammed in the
Feeder due to too many sheets of originals
placed in the Feeder.
Remove the jammed paper, and remove the
improper originals from the Feeder.
Insert a control card before starting the copy
job.
The security key is not inserted. Insert the
security key and turn it to the right.
Confirm that the tray is properly set in the
Rotary Changer.
The Stapler Sorter has run out of staples.
Replace the stapler cartridge, and keep the
Stapling Start/Stop key pressed until the
copies are stapled.
Load paper into the indicated drawer.
Alternatively, select another drawer with the
same size of paper loaded.
Make sure that the original is placed on the
platen glass. To make copies from an
original such as a transparency that cannot
be automatically recognized in size, press
the Original Size Recognition key to turn OFF
the Original Size Recognition function or
manually select the paper size.
Paper has jammed in the indicated location.
Remove the jammed paper according to the
procedure displayed on the Touch Panel
Display.
Paper of a different size from the one used is
set in the drawer. Set paper of the same size
as is used.
2nd-side copying is completed in the 1¡2-
sided copy mode on the platen glass.
Change the originals, and then press the
(Start) key.
Remove the original, and place it again.
To make copies in the current copy settings,
it is necessary to place the originals in the
Feeder.
The front cover is left pulled out of the Paper
Deck. Securely push it until it locks into
place.
