When your phone is connected to a Polycom HDX system, the following
applies:
• You cannot place video calls (or conferences) on hold. Therefore, you
cannot have multiple video call (or conference) appearances.
• Your phone can handle up to eight audio-only call appearances, or seven
audio-only appearances (on hold) and one video call appearance.

When your phone is connected to a Polycom HDX system, your phone handles
computer or mobile audio just like an audio-only call.
You handle computer or mobile audio when your phone is connected to a
Polycom HDX system in the same way you handle computer or mobile audio
when your phone operates as a standalone system (see
Mobile Audio with the Conference Phone
keys display instead.
Your system administrator can set up your phone to have one or more call
appearances. If your phone is set up to have multiple call appearances, your
phone screen can display information for multiple calls, and you can handle
active and held calls at the same time. Your phone can handle a maximum of
eight different calls, or eight "appearances," at one time.
The following figure shows what the phone screen looks like with multiple
appearances set up. The figure shows an active call with extension 1955, and a
call on hold with extension 1951.
