Electrical Connection

The unit is preset to work with a 230 V single-phase electrical supply.
Before carrying out the electrical connection ensure the following
conditions are complied:
— the available electircal supply is able to feed the appliance.
— the unit is correctly connected to earth through a suitable plug and
according to the rules in force.
— the socket or the omnipolar switch used for the connection must be
easilv accessible after the appliance has been installed.
The appliance is supplied without connection cable: a suitable one
should be installed and provided with a suitable plug. The plug has to
be connected to an adequate socket.
If connecting the appliance
directly to the mains, an
omnipolar safety switch with a
minimum opening between
contacts of 3 mm must be fitted
between the unit and the mains,
in compliance with rules in force.
The brown live wire must always
be connected to the phase
terminal of the mains supply.
In any case, the connection cable
must be positioned in order to
avoid it exceeds 50 c above
room temperature.
If the connection cable needs replacing, use only type H05RR-F cables.
It is necessary that the yellow/green earth wire is about 2cm longer
than the live and neutral ones.
After the connection, test the heating elements for about 3 minutes to
ensure that they are working correctly.
