The default setting is Answer
On.

Your BT Reveal can digitally record up to 20
minutes of messages, with each message lasting a
maximum of 3 minutes. As well as recording
incoming messages, you can record memos for
other users of your BT Reveal.
You can operate your answering machine from:
The handset.
Remotely, from any other Touchtone
see page 45.
Your BT Reveal comes with two pre-recorded
outgoing messages, Answer and Record (default
setting) or Answer Only, or if you wish you can
record your own message.
You will need to set the day and time (if you have
not already done so) so that you will know when
each message was received, see page 34.
Setting up the answering machine

Switch the answering machine ON/OFF

1. Press MENU
2. Press UP
Machine is displayed and select OK.
3. Press UP

The display goes back to the Answer Machine menu.
