Using additional handsets

You must charge your
additional handset for 24 hours
before registering it.
If your handset is already
registered to a base,
will be displayed next to the
base number.
The default PIN code is 0000.
The
button can be
found on the back of the base.
The allocation of a handset
number depends on handset
compatibility.

You can use up to 5 GAP compatible handsets with
your BT Reveal base to extend your phone system
without needing to install extension sockets for
each new phone. You must register new handsets
to your BT Reveal base before they can be used.
Your BT Reveal handset can be registered to up to
4 bases.

Registering a handset

At the handset:
1. Press

to register the handset to and select OK.
5. Enter your 4 digit System PIN code, then select OK.
At the base:
6. Press and hold
a beep tone and the blue downlight begins to flash
on and off. Release the button and the phone will
remain in registration mode for 60 seconds while
the handset attempts to register with the base.
When registration is successful,
will be displayed and the handset will automatically
be allocated the next available handset number. This
number will be shown in the handset display when in
standby mode.
If registration is unsuccessful,
will be displayed.
