Handset buttons

Inverse black and white display
Backlight comes on when a
button is pressed and stays on
until 30 seconds after last button
press. Backlight comes on when
receiving an incoming call.

In standby mode, press and hold
to switch the handset ringer
on/off, page 28. In talk mode, if
set to Pulse dialling, press to
temporarily switch to tone
dialling, page 32.
Keypad backlight
Switches on when the handset is
lifted from the base, when any
button is pressed or a
call/message is received. Switches
off if there are no further button
presses for 30 seconds or if the
handset is placed back on
In talk mode, use to insert a Recall
into the dialling sequence. R is
displayed. For use with a
switchboard/PBX and certain BT
