Lift the cover of the print head compartment as
indicated by the arrow.

Remove the print head from its box and, holding
it by its finger grip, peel the protective film off
from the print nozzles.

Avoid touching both the nozzles and the electri-
cal contacts

Insert the print head in its housing with the elec-
trical contacts towards the back of the machine.
While inserting the print head, take care not to
move the print head carriage
