which is compatible with USB 2.0 and the
FAT32 file system, and can handle a maxi-
mum of 500 folders and 64 000 files. The
memory must have a capacity of at least

mobile phones it is also possible to change
tracks from the phone.
To be able to play back the audio a device
must first be paired and connected to the car.
For information about pairing and connection,
see page 275. BT must also be selected as
audio source, see page 248.
NOTE
The Bluetooth
port the Audio/Video Remote Control Pro-
file (AVRCP) and Advanced Audio Distribu-

Optimum sound reproduction
The audio system is calibrated for optimum
sound reproduction by means of digital signal
processing.
This calibration takes into account loud-
speakers, amplifiers, passenger compartment
acoustics, listener position etc. for each com-
bination of car model and audio system.
There is a also a dynamic calibration that
takes into account the level set for the volume
control, radio reception and vehicle speed.
The controls that are explained in these oper-
ating instructions, e.g. Bass, Treble and
Equalizer, are only intended for the user to be
able to adapt the sound reproduction accord-
ing to personal taste.
