Diagnostic Error Messages
The UDC 3300 performs background tests to verify data and memory integrity. If
there is a malfunction, an error message will be displayed. In the case of more than
one simultaneous malfunction, only the one with the highest priority will appear on
the lower display. A list of error messages is contained in Table 4-2. If any of these
error messages occur, refer to Section 9 – Troubleshooting in manual #51-52-25-55
for information to correct the failure.

or Output.
SOOTING
Input Combination Errors—Percent Carbon falls outside of "sooting
boundary."

PV = (PV source x PV source ratio) + PV source bias
Failsafe Loop 1—Check inputs or configuration.

RV = (RV source x RV source ratio) + RV source bias
SEG ERR
Segment Error—SP Program starting segment number is less than ending
segment number.
CAL MTR
Not calibrated. Perform Position Proportional calibration.
