Note:
You must remove the c-Class blade cable management bracket to remove or replace a 4x DDR
IB switch module installed in the back of a c-Class BladeSystem enclosure. To remove the bracket,
reverse the installation procedure described in the c-Class Blade Cable Management Bracket
Installation Guide.

5.1.1 Subnet Manager

A subnet manager is required to establish the InfiniBand fabric and provide InfiniBand fabric
services. The subnet manager can be running on the rack-mount InfiniBand switches connected
to the uplinks of the 4x DDR IB switch modules or on the server blades. The Voltaire Grid switch
product family is supported to provide subnet manager services.
