TROUBLESHOOTING

This section covers measures against troubles in basic processing devices and peripheral
devices. If the troubles are not solved even countermeasures are conducted, contact and
inform to a maintenance engineer.
(1) If the LED for ON/OFF in the main chasis does not illuminte even the AC switch on
(2) If nothing appears on the cosole
(3) If command input is not possible
(4) The OS does not boot up

Check for the AC power to the main cabinet.

Check if the switch on the distribution board is ON.

Confirm that the AC breaker in the receptacle box of the main chasis is on.

Confirm that the a power code is connected to the main chasis or the receptacle box
of main chasis.

Check if the console power is ON.
-
Check for the connection between the basic processing device and iSP card is
correct.
• Is a correct cable used?
• Are connectors connected firmly?
• Is IP address setup correct?

Check whether the screen is display-prohibited or not, by pressing the Shift key
-
Check if the console brightness is set to the lowest.

Check if the connection between the VGA card in the PCIF box and the console is
correct.

Confirm that keyboard and mouse are correctly connected.

Check if the connection between the BIO card in the PCIF box and keyboard and
mouse is correct.
• Is correct cable used?
• Are connectors connected firmly?

Check if there are errors in the SP console
-
Confirm that the DVD-ROM (CD-ROM) is correctly installed when booting up OS
from the DVD-ROM in the PCIF box.

Confirm that the HDD is correctly installed when booting up OS from the HDD in
DeviceBay in the PCIF box.
