MIDI Base I/O Address

The base I/O address for the MPU-401 UART MIDI on the sound board can be changed using
jumper MSEL. Two base I/O addresses, 300H and 330H (factory default settings), are avail-
able. To change the base I/O address, enable the jumper corresponding to the setting shown in
Figure Appendix D-2.

Joystick Connector

The joystick connector on the sound board can be enabled or disabled using jumper JYEN. The
factory default setting of the joystick connector is enabled. If a joystick connector is
already in use, disable the one on the sound board.
To change the joystick connector setting, enable or disable jumper JYEN as shown in Figure
Appendix D-3.
