Check Point
1. Remove the dust on the Ending Sensor.
2. Execute Key / Sensor and Sensor
Sensitive Level tests on Sec. 9.3.6. to
check the sensor condition.
3. Check the connection between CN503
(ENDING SENSOR Board) and CN1012
(CONTROL Board).
4. Check the ENDING SENSOR Board.
Check point: Q503 - B, E
· Q503 - B (when IC503's LED is ON):
Approx. 4V
· Q503 - E (When IC503's LED is ON):
Approx. 3.4V
5. Replace the faulty cable.
6. Replace the ENDING SENSOR Board.
1. Restart the scanner to check whether the
same error message indicates.
2. Remove the dust on the Ending Sensor.
3. Execute Key / Sensor and Sensor
Sensitive Level tests on Sec. 9.3.6. to
check the sensor condition.
4. Check the CONTROL Board.
Check point: Q1023 - B
· 0.6V or more
5. Replace the CONTROL Board.
1. Clean the CIS glass surface.
2. Execute Shading. (See 9.3.7.)
3. Execute CIS LED Level and CIS Black
Level tests on Sec. 9.3.6. to check the
CIS condition.
4. Check the connection to CN513 and
CN514 on RELAY (FRONT) Board from
the CIS (Front).
5. Replace faulty cables.
6. Replace the CIS (Front).
1. Restart the scanner to check whether the
same error message indicates.
2. Execute CIS LED Level and CIS Black
Level tests on Sec. 9.3.6. to check the
CIS condition.
3. Check the connection between CN 516
(RELAY (FRONT) Board) and CN1001
(CONTROL Board).
4. Check the CONTROL Board.
Check point: Refer to Note
· Q1025 - B
· Q1028 - B
· Q1031 - B
5. Replace the faulty cable.
6. Replace the RELAY (FRONT) Board.
7. Replace the CONTROL Board.
