Sending E-mails

Supported E-mail Attachments
Files of the formats described below can be attached to e-mails.
• PDF files (Adobe Acrobat 4 to Acrobat 8. However, when using PDF Bridge, some
features added from PDF 1.5 and later are not supported. When using PostScript, some
features added from PDF 1.4 and later are not supported.)
• TIFF files
• XPS file
• JPEG (JFIF) files
Note
• XPS stands for XML Paper Specification.
Setting Description
SMTP Server Specify the IP address of the
IP Address / POP3 server for receiving e-
Host Name & mail, the IPv6-addr format, or
Port FQDN (Fully Qualified
Domain Name).
Also specify the port number
used by the SMTP server.
Machine's E- Specify the printer's e-mail
mail Address address.
Login Specify the authentication
