To turn the lamp off, press and hold the
seconds. When you turn the lamp off, the projector fans
continue to run for about two minutes. Allow the fans to run
until they automatically turn off. This lengthens the lamp life
and helps ensure that the projector cools properly. Turning
the lamp off does not turn off the projector. To turn the
power off, move the power switch on the back of the projec-
tor to the "off" position.
After you turn off the lamp, you can immediately turn it back
on within five seconds. If you wait longer than five seconds,
you must then wait 90 seconds before turning it back on.
This is a built-in safety feature that helps prevent damage to
the lamp. Press the
key again to turn on the lamp once
more. The lamp illuminates slowly, to prolong lamp life.
