Status messages

The following messages show the printer status. For error
messages, see "Printer Stops Printing Unexpectedly" on page 122.
READY
POWER OFF
INK DRY nn MIN W*
RESET
PRESS PAUSE BUTTON
PRINTING
WAIT
PAUSE
INK COMPART. OPEN
Light Magenta ink is low. The Light Magenta ink cartridge
is nearly empty. Obtain replacement ink cartridge.
Yellow ink is out, the Yellow ink cartridge is not installed
correctly, or a wrong ink cartridge is installed.
Yellow ink is low. The Yellow ink cartridge is nearly empty.
Obtain replacement ink cartridge.
Auto Cut is selected. The roll paper will be automatically
cut after printing.
Printing occurs continuously without cutting.
Cut sheet is selected. Printing is on single sheet paper.
The printer ejects the paper.
Reset has been executed by pressing the Pause button
for 3 seconds or more.
W* Ready to print data.
Power is off.
Drying ink after printing. Wait for "nn" minutes.
The printer is being reset.
Pause button needs to be pressed.
W* Receiving print data.
W* The printer is warming up or charging ink.
The printer is paused. To resume printing, press the
Pause button.
You are replacing the ink cartridge(s) and the ink
compartment cover is open.
