Do not immerse the top cover in water or clean it under the tap, to
prevent damage to the Pure protect alert display.
Cleaning the adapter parts
Clean the 4 adapter parts regularly (at least every 3 months).

Unscrew the bolt in the hole on the inside of the clean water
tank with a coin. Then remove the bolt.
Make sure you disinfect the coin before you use it to unscrew the bolt in
the clean water tank.
Tip: You can disinfect the coin by first cleaning it with detergent, rinsing it with
clean water and then putting it in boiling water for at least 10 minutes.

Remove the support plate with the float body from the bottom of
the clean water tank.

Unscrew the float body from the float pin (1) and pull it off the float
pin (2).

Remove the float pin from the hole in the support plate.
Note: You can even remove the black part of the float pin for cleaning
purposes. Be careful that you do not lose this part.

Clean all adapter parts under a hot tap.

Reassemble the adapter parts (see chapter 'Before first use', section
'Attaching the adapter to the clean water tank').
