NS
Warning lamp in the combined

instrument panel

The airbag system is continually monitored by
its control module. The warning symbol in the
combined instrument panel illuminates when
the ignition key is turned to position I, II or III.
The lamp goes once the sensor/control
module has checked that the airbag system is
fault-free. This usually takes about 7 seconds.
WARNING!
If the airbag warning lamp remains lit or
lights while driving, the airbag system is
not fully functional. The symbol can
indicate a fault in the seatbelt, SRS,
SIPS or IC system. Contact an
authorised Volvo workshop as soon as
possible.
