Shutting down the DM-4800

IMPORTANT CAUTION!!!

projects (automation, library entries, etc.) is not auto-
matically stored on the card. If you turn off the DM-
4800 without having shut down the DM-4800 properly,
YOU MAY LOSE ALL YOUR DATA NOT STORED TO A
PROJECT SINCE THE LAST SAVE!
As when you work with computers, we strongly recom-
mend that you save your project data to card frequently
to avoid any possible data loss.

How to shut down the DM-4800

Starting up the DM-4800

When you power down the DM-4800 after working
on a project, the project is automatically loaded, if
the CF card containing that project is inserted (a
message appears on screen at the completion of the
project load).
See "About projects and libraries" on page 34 for
more details about how the DM-4800 uses projects
and libraries to manage and store data.
If the CF card is not inserted, or if a different (or
unformatted) CF card has been inserted, an appropri-
ate message is displayed (asking if you want to for-
mat a blank card, for example).
